LENGTH
OF RENTAL: Hollingsworth Fine Arts will provide the Borrower with the exhibit objects at least two weeks prior
to the exhibit opening. The Borrower must release the entire exhibit to the shippers no later than two weeks after the exhibit closing.
RENTAL
FEE:
The Borrower shall pay Hollingsworth Fine Arts the total rental fee for the traveling exhibit as stated in the contract.
(Roundtrip shipping and insurance costs are not included in the total rental fee). A non-refundable deposit of half
of the total rental fee is due from the Borrower upon the signing of the contract or no later than the beginning
of the Borrower’s fiscal year. The remainder of the rental fee is due by the date of the release of the exhibit to shippers
for delivery to the Borrower (typically two weeks prior to the exhibit opening date).
MARKETING
MATERIALS: Hollingsworth Fine Arts will provide the Borrower with a kit of promotional materials no later than six months
prior to the exhibit opening. The kit shall include a sample press release, promotional photos and/or 35mm slides and/or digital
photos.
TRANSPORTATION AND PACKING:Transportation arrangements
shall be made by Hollingsworth Fine Arts, at the request of the Borrower. The cost of roundtrip transportation from Orlando, FL to the Borrower's location and from the Borrower's
location
to
Orlando, FL shall be borne by the
Borrower. The roundtrip transportation costs are not included in the total rental fee. Both parties must agree upon the method
of shipment. Hollingsworth Fine Arts is not liable for delays or changes in transportation dates made by the shipper once Hollingsworth
Fine Arts has released the collection to the shipper.
Unpacking and handling must be done
by experienced personnel. Re-packing must be done with the same packing materials and as stated in the packing instructions
provided by Hollingsworth Fine Arts, unless otherwise stated.
CARE AND PRESERVATION: Objects in the care of
the Borrower must remain in its possession for the exhibition loan period stated in the contract. The Borrower must exercise
the same care with respect to the objects of this loan that it does in the safekeeping of its own property to insure
against loss, damage, or deterioration. No alteration, restoration, or repair to objects may be undertaken, except if
such treatment is specifically authorized by Hollingsworth Fine Arts. Damage to loaned objects must be reported to Hollingsworth
Fine Arts immediately.
INSURANCE: Insurance for the exhibition (based on the total value of the objects in
the exhition) is to be carried by the Borrower. Insurance costs are not included in the total rental fee. The Borrower must provide
a certificate of insurance to Hollingsworth Fine Arts.
PHOTOGRAPHY AND PUBLICITY: All artwork, accompanying
didactic information and photographic images are the property of Hollingsworth Fine Arts. The Borrower is prohibited from
using the images affixed to any product for sale, without the permission of Hollingsworth Fine Arts. Permission is granted
for the Borrower to reproduce photographs of from the exhibition for exhibition catalogs, publicity (including television
broadcast), Borrower website and/or educational purposes. The Borrower shall acknowledge the ownership of the objects
lent using the credit line “The Hollingsworth Collection” for all exhibition catalogs, publications, press releases
and on gallery labels. Photographs of the objects shall be credited as “ã Hollingsworth Fine Arts.”
INSTALLATION: The Borrower shall be
granted permission to exclude any objects from the exhibition and/or to display other materials in conjunction with this exhibition.
